Pinnacle Software has released the latest issue of The Pinnacle Reporter. The Winter issue was released at the end of December. The Winter issue contains a new giveaway. The Pinnacle Reporter is giving away a new Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck. This new state-of-the-art device is not only a mobile gaming system, it's also a cell phone, web browser, and MP3 player. Pinnacle Software and Krummrich Engineering have teamed up to create the best workover software program on the market. For nearly a decade, Pinnacle Software has delivered WORKS as the best workover system available. But the best just got better! Pinnacle Software and Krummrich are proud to announce a joint effort to bring the oil and gas industry the greatest program ever. The WORKS program has been united with Krummrich's Project Planner drilling program to provide the most thorough well management system on the market. This new program is called WellTrak. WellTrak is being promoted by the joint effort of both companies, called United Software Associates. 

Pinnacle Software is undertaking a new software application called Task Tracker. Task Tracker is a software application that tracks payroll hours, tasks, projects, and billable client time. Task Tracker allows companies to track employee time spent on certain projects. Companies can generate specific tasks based on customer projects or generic tasks that are not customer specific. Tasks can be assigned to an individual or to a work group. Task Tracker allows printing of specific reports, weekly time cards, and tasks completed. Pinnacle Software developed Task Tracker for in-house use and uses it exclusively to track time that is spent on projects.

Pinnacle Software teams up with Synchrologic to offer expanded services for CADACS. Customers will have additional mobile options with their handheld units in the field. These additional options can include wireless synchronization, wireless internet, and remote e-mail
   
 
Pinnacle Software upgrades all CADACS handheld units to include SQL Server CE Version 1.0. This upgrade will give customers enhanced database flexibility.
